Greenbrier Physicians’ Obstetrics & Gynecology department offers full service care for women at every stage of life. Our physicians ascribe to a philosophy of minimally invasive care in alignment with a woman’s unique needs and family planning goals.

Gynecological services include annual preventative exams, HPV vaccination, family planning consultation, infertility care, menopause-related treatment, and osteoporosis prevention and care.  Obstetric services include pre-conception counseling, prenatal care, delivery, and postpartum care.

Our office employs the latest ultrasound equipment and mammography is performed onsite.

Connie M. Perkins, D.O.

A Greenbrier County native, Dr. Perkins received her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV in 1995. She completed her Internship and Residency at Ohio University – Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and in August 1999, she started her practice at Greenbrier Physicians.  She is board certified by The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Perkins lives in Lewisburg, WV with her husband and children.

Hailing from Huntington, WV, Dr. Flowers received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1998 and rotated at Charleston Area Medical Center during his third and fourth years of medical school. He completed his internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland in 1999.   In 2002, Dr. Flowers completed his residency training at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. After seven years of military service, he separated from the United States Navy where he held the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In addition to his position as an attending physician at Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, NC, he was deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Keflavik, Iceland. Prior to joining Greenbrier Physicians, Dr. Flowers was an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the West Virginia University – Charleston Division. In 2006, he began his practice at Greenbrier Physicians. Dr. Flowers has served as president of the Greenbrier Valley Medical Society since 2017. He also serves on the State Medical Association Legislative Affairs Committee and has been appointed to the Perinatal Statewide Advisory Committee focusing on rural medicine throughout West Virginia.   He lives in Lewisburg, WV with his family.

Samantha L. Chaffin, M.D.

Dr. Chaffin is originally from Charleston, WV.   She earned her bachelor’s degree from Concord University at Athens, WV, and a medical degree from the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Huntington, West Virginia in 2013.   In 2017, she completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Charleston Area Medical Center. Dr. Chaffin began her practice with Greenbrier Physicians in 2017. She and her family live in Lewisburg, WV.
